Colonial Missions: Rubén G. Mendoza, Ph.D., RPA

On June 10 and 11, 2013, the ASU Hispanic Research Center presented a two-day program, Colonial Misisons: Research and Digital Preservation. See the flyer:  missionsprogramflyer_2.pdf. Dedicated to the cultural significance of these historic missions, the program included dynamic discussions with scholars and innovators in cultural resource management. Center stage at the event was Dr. Rubén G. Mendoza, professor of archaeology  as well as director of the Institute for Archaeological Science, Technology and Visualization at California State University, Monterey Bay. Dr. Mendoza presented two lectures on his research at California missions and also sat down with Dr. Gary Keller for a two-part interview.
