Sigrid Vogt: The Adventurous Travels of Saint Francis and the Americas
SFA has undertaken dozens of visual research documentation trips to numerous countries including Canada, Chile, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, the United States, and elsewhere in its recording of the life and labors of St. Francis of Assisi and the work of the Franciscans, religious and secular, around the world.
We have come across some interesting personages during the course of these trips. For example:
Sigrid Vogt, in Heidelberg, Germany, a vivacious young woman with whom we discussed St. Francis, the art of baking pastries, and all aspects of life, culture, and the spirit.
