Chapel of the Venerable Third Order (Video)

The Chapel of the Venerable Third Order was constructed between 1789 to 1795 in the neoclassical style in Cuidad Rodrigo, Spain, on the site where the Church of the Holy Sepulchre once stood. To this day it continues to be used by the secular Franciscans. Some years ago the head of the Saint Francis sculpture that graces the façade of the chapel fell and, in a charming and poignant way, a pigeon often perches in its place.
